Specialty coffee. Described beyond a number.
Origin, processing, flavour and roast help you choose your cup. The Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) separates those attributes from an assessor’s impression of quality.
About the SCA Coffee Value AssessmentThe origin
Tanzania brings brightness and fruit to our African range. The current coffee’s region and processing are recorded in the specification; it is roasted to order at our home in Lusaka.
In the cup
Blackcurrant, brown sugar and orange lead our medium-roast profile. Lighter roasting draws out black tea and citrus; darker roasting moves towards cocoa, molasses and spice.
About peaberry
A peaberry is a rounded seed that develops alone inside a coffee cherry, instead of the usual pair. The shape is one characteristic of the coffee; the lot and the roast determine the cup. Your order is dispatched within 48 hours.
